Biography
Dirceu Resende is a database and BI specialist, working exclusively with SQL Server, Analysis Services, Integration Services and Reporting Services since 2013. He has worked as a DBA for a global technology company, providing DBA Outsourcing services for one of the world's largest mining companies. He also worked as a BI analyst and DBA at the largest financial institution in Espírito Santo, as a BI analyst at a multinational in the Energy sector, as a data specialist outside Brazil, at Caribbean Development Bank, and also at Microsoft, as Senior Program Manager of Power BI.
He currently works at Ryanair as Azure Cloud Administrator.
Dirceu actively participates in the Data Platform technical community and has spoken at the largest data events using Microsoft technologies in Brazil, such as SQL Saturday's, MVPConf, Power BI Roadshow and Power Platform World Tour.
Dirceu publishes videos on the Planilheiros Brasil YouTube channel, the largest YouTube channel about Power BI content in the world, and has written over 300 technical articles on his own blog and on major portals such as iMasters and codigosimples.net.
He has the most visited database blog in Brazil and is one of the leaders of the data community in Espírito Santo.
