Everything calm?

On 05/05, I had the pleasure of participating in the 7th meeting of the PASS Local Group SQL Server ES, together with Tiago Neves and the Fabrício Lima where we had the presence of MVP Vitor Fava as a speaker.

Vitor is Local Group Leader at SQLManiacs de SP, one of the largest Local Groups in Brazil. He is a speaker at events such as SQLBits, SQL Saturday in Brazil and abroad and he currently works at Pythian, one of the largest consulting companies in the world, as well as being an instructor at VitaDB Solutions.

As always, the structure of the Catholic University Center of Vitória was sensational, serving and accommodating us in a very comfortable and organized way.

We also had support from AX4B, a company specializing in Microsoft consultancy, which supported the event by donating Coffee Break to participants and also promoting the event on social media.

The lecture

Taking advantage of the goodwill of the speaker and MVP Victor Fava, who left São Paulo to come to Vitória-ES to honor us with his vast knowledge about the Microsoft data platform, we gave him the entire event agenda, and he was able to hold a mini workshop on Data Platform on Azure. In this workshop, event participants were able to learn more about what Microsoft has made available regarding the data platform, both in terms of PaaS and IaaS and also what is yet to come.

I would like to thank again everyone who was able to attend the event. I hope it was beneficial and an investment of time, rather than a waste of time. Waking up early on a Saturday, after working/studying all week, is really not easy. This only shows the interest in learning more and developing professionally. Those who didn't go missed the coffee break, networking and Vitor's excellent talk.
