Hey guys!
Everything calm?

On September 15th, I had the pleasure of participating in the organization of the 9th PASS Local Group SQL Server ES meeting and speak on the topic “Power BI x Reporting Services: Who is better?”, together with MVP Fabrício Lima, who presented us with the talk “Step by step on how I did a Tuning on 7 real queries from a client”.

As always, the structure of the Catholic University Center of Vitória was sensational, serving and accommodating us in a very comfortable and organized way.

10:20 - 11:20Step by step on how I did a Tuning on 7 real queries from a clientIn this talk I will show how I improved 7 real queries from a client in a Tuning consultancy. Let's discuss together the step by step I followed and improve the query just by creating indexes, since it is a third-party application and we cannot change the queries. This base had 800 GB of compressed data (more than 2 TB if it had no compression).Fabrício Lima

I would like to thank again everyone who was able to attend the event. I hope it was beneficial and an investment of time, rather than a waste of time. Waking up early on a Saturday, after working/studying all week, is really not easy. This only shows the interest in learning more and developing professionally. Those who didn't go missed the coffee break, networking and our talks.

That's it, folks.
I will soon post more news here for you.

A big hug and see you in the next post.
