With this, Microsoft is democratizing access to the MCT program at maintain all requirements, with the sole exception of the value of 350 dollars, which is very high for many people and with this, it is also increasing people's level of knowledge, since it is a great opportunity for you to use the MCT discount to obtain new certifications, and thus, be able to give official Microsoft training. Requirements to renew Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)

  • Possess a current Microsoft Certification or an acceptable qualification for the MCT program.

  • Meet the minimum instructional requirement of teaching at least one class, as validated through the  Metrics that Matter(MTM) or any other search tool will be accepted.

Observation: Renewal requirements may change and to renew as an MCT you must meet the MCT program renewal requirements by the anniversary date.

  • Read the Prerequisites above and see if you meet them all

  • Provide details of your instructional skills certification or provide contact information for a person who can verify your teaching and training experience
    • If you chose the second option, you will have to wait for the indicated contact to approve the email that will arrive to them.
