SQL Server 2016 MCSA certification exams for free (Beta)

In this post today, I will share with you some promotional codes to take SQL Server 2016 MCSA BETA certification tests for free. When Microsoft is preparing to launch the certification exams, it makes some codes available to IT professionals around the world so that they can take these test exams and give their feedback on the questions.

Despite being BETA tests, their results are computed and are valid for the certification process. As explained in this link, if you pass the beta test, you will not need to repeat the test when the final version comes out. If you do not pass the beta test, you will not be able to repeat the beta test again and must wait for the final version to be released before retaking the exam.

Since the tests are still in the testing phase (they are BETA), you should be aware of the possibility of errors in the questions. Furthermore, the tests are generally only available in English and instead of a few randomly chosen questions, the test contains all the questions, so the beta test is usually longer than the final test.

• 70-761 – Querying Data with Transact-SQL: Test content
• 70-762 – Developing SQL Databases: Test content / Registration (Code: XIEWCD762UU)

MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration
Certification aimed at DBA’s and which is obtained by passing the two tests below:

• 70-764 – Administering a SQL Database Infrastructure: Test content
• 70-765 – Provisioning SQL Databases: Test content / Registration (Code: QFNMSK765LL)

MCSA: SQL 2016 Business Intelligence Development
Certification aimed at BI Analysts and which is obtained by passing the two tests below:

• 70-767 – Implementing a SQL Data Warehouse: Test content
• 70-768 – Developing SQL Data Models: Test content / Registration (Code: WXSQJY768AA)

For those who are already an MCSA for SQL Server 2012/2014, you can take the 70-762 beta test to replace the first test in each area and then only take the second exam to update your certification to SQL Server 2016:

Once you pass the 2 tests in an area, you receive the title of MCSA in that area. You can take the tests in one or all 3 areas, if you wish.
